    ChestTriceps
    1. Set your position

Grip the parallel bars; on an assisted machine set assistance and mount the moving pad following its instructions.

    2. Make the movement

Lean slightly forward, bend elbows and descend only as far as comfortable. Push up without swinging.

    3. Breathe and control the pace

Breathe out during the harder part and in on the return. Control the return instead of dropping the weight. Two reps in reserve means you could do about two more clean repetitions.

    Watch out for

Do not force depth through shoulder pain. More assistance makes this exercise easier.

    Understanding the load

This number means machine ASSISTANCE. A higher number makes the exercise easier; a lower number gives less help.

For your first use, ask staff to show you the machine settings and safety release. Stop for sharp pain. This basic guide is awaiting professional review.
