How to do this exercise: Assisted pull-upSetup · movement · load
    Lats
    1. Set your position

Grip a secure bar, palms toward you for chin-ups. On the assisted machine mount safely and choose enough assistance.

    2. Make the movement

Pull elbows toward your sides, raise yourself toward the bar and lower slowly without swinging.

    3. Breathe and control the pace

Breathe out during the harder part and in on the return. Control the return instead of dropping the weight. Two reps in reserve means you could do about two more clean repetitions.

    Watch out for

Do not kick for momentum; use assistance if needed.

    Understanding the load

This number means machine ASSISTANCE. A higher number makes the exercise easier; a lower number gives less help.

For your first use, ask staff to show you the machine settings and safety release. Stop for sharp pain. This basic guide is awaiting professional review.
